Bonnie Calliotte, of De’Tours Traveling Tea Room, will serve a Victorian Cream Tea in the outdoor picnic pavilion of Manatee Village from 2:00-4:00pm on June 10, 2017.
Dress-up is encouraged. There will be a best hat contest, the prize for which will be a family four pack of tickets to the Florida Railroad Museum.
Cream Teas can be distinguished from Afternoon Teas by the food that is served. While an Afternoon Tea may include savory foods like sandwiches, Cream Teas are accompanied by sweet foods like scones and tarts.
This is a ticketed event. Adult tickets are $15.00 and include tea with a selection of scones, jams, fresh fruit, and lemon tarts. Tickets for children under 12 years of age are $5.00 and include pink lemonade with a selection of cupcakes, cookies, and brownies. (Please note that De’Tours may not be able to accommodate food allergies or guarantee that there has been no cross-contamination with allergens.)
Tickets are on sale from May 1 to June 1, and must be purchased in advance by cash or check. Tickets may be bought in person at Manatee Village, or by mail to Manatee Village Historical Park, 1404 Manatee Avenue East, Bradenton, FL 34208. Please make checks payable to Bonnie Calliotte. Space is limited. If mailing a check, call in advance to make your reservation and download the ticket order form from: http://www.manateevillage.org/Events.
