A Week on the Bradenton Gulf Islands
The whole family fueled up for fun at the Banana Cabana, which proved to be their favorite place to eat in all of Anna Maria Island. The gator, fish and tuna tacos were a big hit.
What would an Anna Maria Island trip be without a few treats along the way? Sophia and sister Nadia made sure dessert was on the agenda at the Sandbar Restuarant. When the sun finally made its decent into the Gulf, the famous guests even got to ring the gong as is the evening ritual at the restaurant.
After meeting Snooty at the South Florida Museum, the family set out for a beach walk with the Anna Maria Island Turtle Watch with hopes of finding some baby sea turtles. As you can see, their walk was a success.
It’s not every day that you get a firsthand look at a sea turtle nest. They were lucky to find one, and they said that this was one of their favorite parts of the whole week.
Between all of the excitement, they made sure to find some relaxing beach time – and plenty of it. In fact, they couldn’t quite finish everything they had scheduled because they enjoyed the beach so much. But with views like that, who could blame them?
All in all, they were especially glad to experience it all together. Seven days, four smiling faces, one happy family – that sounds like an Anna Maria Island vacation.
