Eileen is an actor, improviser, and singer based in Cincinnati, OH, but considers Sarasota her second home. This is her 11th season with the Powel Crosley and her 1 billionth show. She is part warlock. She is a member of OTRimprov (Best Improv/Sketch Troupe 2014-2020), ComedySportz Cincinnati, a Red Nose Doc for Healthy Humor at Cincinnati Children's Hospital, a detective with Cincinnati Dinner Detective, and one half of the comedy team, Two Sketchy Dames. In 2019, she became the Associate Artistic Director of Powel Crosley Theatre in Sarasota, FL. She is a marathoner both in running and chowing down on Reese's Cups and Peppermint Patties. James Creque is a multi-disciplinary professional performer based out of NYC, LA, and Cincinnati with a few claims to fame, and loads of experiences. He has appeared in screen projects big and small with credits including a 2-degree separation from Kevin Bacon, been featured on the main stage at KNOW Theatre of Cincinnati for many years, recorded music with Samuel L. Jackson, performed standup comedy in Los Angeles, and generally delights in his ongoing pursuit of opportunities to tell stories and commune with audiences. Rae Buchanan (she/her) is an actor, educator, and theatre artist with an MFA in Acting (Purdue University) and BA in Musical Theatre (Weber State University). She has performed both regionally and internationally, including a German/English production of Faust (Gretchen), Gloria: A Life (Woman 5) with the Human Race Theatre, and she originated roles in Alice in Neverland (Alice) and Dragon Up (Meetra) with the Know Theatre of Cincinnati. Additionally, she is a resident artist with The Nerve Theatre and a healthcare clown with Healthy Humor. Patrick Croce was born in Memphis, Tennessee and currently based in Atlanta, Georgia. Graduating from The University of Alabama in 2014, acting and performance has taken him all over the country. Torie Pate is an actor, singer, director, and teaching artist based in Cincinnati, OH. Torie is happy to be returning to The Powel Crosley Theater for the 2021-22 season. In 2019, she was one half of The Mistletones in A Classic Crosley Christmas. Torie is also Co-Artistic Director, and Education Director for Cincinnati LAB Theatre, a developmental theatre company in Cincinnati, OH. Torie has been a professional theatre artist for over 20 years and has performed with such companies as Cincinnati LAB Theatre, at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati, Cincinnati Landmark Productions, The Carnegie, & The Falcon Theatre. She is also a teaching artist (drama and dance) with the Carnegie Visual and Performing Arts Center in Covington, KY. Kathryn Parks was, in fact, born at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. An award-winning filmmaker, director, actor, and singer, stage credits include CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF (Maggie), VIOLET (Violet), KING AND I (Anna), MIDSUMMER (Titania). Her two films, 50 WORDS (2018) and HER PLACE (2020), have both been named “Best Florida Film” at multiple film festivals. She’s appeared at Florida Studio Theatre, FST Improv, Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe, Asolo Rep, American Stage, and St. Pete Opera. Ryan performs full-time at Walt Disney World, as well as theaters and renaissance festivals across the United States. Some of his favorite theatrical roles include Luigi in The Explorers Club; multiple productions of Almost, Maine; Zeus, Achilles, and more in the original cast of The Iliad, the Odyssey, and All of Greek Mythology in 99 Minutes or Less; and An Improv to Murder with the Powel Crosley Theatre. Ryan is also an experienced fight director and has created fights for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando, Florida.
Ryan will be performing in A Literary Feast as Ernest Hemingway.
Tom is thrilled to be back in Manatee County once again for 2022! He has delighted in all of the various productions at the Powel Crosley Estate and its surroundings, whether it be Shakespeare, Poe, Oscar Wilde, or a murder mystery. When he is not in the Sarasota-Bradenton area, Tom travels the country performing in various guises at Renaissance Festivals or he records audiobooks for Audible from his home studio. He also likes writing about himself in the third person.

Gary J. Mazzu has been the artistic director of the Powel Crosley Theatre for every season and has directed professionally for over 32 years. His credits include Twelfth Night, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Comedy of Errors, Two Gentlemen of Verona, Much Ado About Nothing, The Taming of the Shrew, and The Importance of Being Earnest; premiers of: Ludlow, A Walk in the Woods, and To Bury Caesar. Gary has directed M*A*S*H actors Jamie Farr in Catch Me If You Can, Gary Burghoff in Tribute, and Bill Christopher in God’s Man in Texas at the Mt. Gretna Playhouse. Gary has directed at MGM Studios and Disney’s Epcot Center and spent over a decade teaching at various universities.
Gary is serving as Associate Artistic Director for all three shows for this season.
