Gulf Islands Hospitality is the exclusive in-house caterer for the Bradenton Area Convention Center, expertly crafting culinary experiences to elevate events and highlight the destination’s authentic coastal character. Led by 30-year-veteran Executive Chef Tony Parker, the team specializes in customizing menus to nourish and delight all palates – and delights in treating guests to a fusion of fresh Floridian favorites and bright Caribbean flavors, celebrated locally as “Floribbean cuisine.”
Whether it’s a casual welcome brunch inspired by the area’s tropical produce, an intimate executive luncheon featuring regional dishes, or concessions to energize a diverse crowd of spectators, the Gulf Islands Hospitality team are experts when it comes to partnering with clients to create unique and memorable dining experiences.


Get a Taste of What’s Possible
Chef Tony Parker brings more than 30 years of culinary and catering experience to his new role with Gulf Islands Hospitality at the Bradenton Area Convention Center. He began his career at Walt Disney World, spending two decades advancing from first-level culinarian to helping develop the catering “global ordering template,” managing the Food & Wine Festival’s Guest Chef Demo Kitchen, and earning his Certified Sommelier credential.
After returning to the Gulf Coast, Parker continued refining his craft, most recently serving as executive sous chef at Ulele in Tampa. His passion for blending Florida ingredients with Caribbean-inspired techniques influences the Floribbean-forward direction of Gulf Islands Hospitality’s evolving menus.
The Bradenton Area Convention Center is excited to welcome Chef Parker as he brings creativity, expertise, and a fresh culinary vision to events throughout the region.
