The Pops Orchestra has a unique history. We were founded in 1975 as the Sarasota Community Orchestra under the direction of Arlene Stein. During that 1st year, the orchestra grew from 5 to 30 members. Today, The Pops Orchestra is comprised of 60+ musicians.
